Take Care Bags Initiative
Take Care Bags are a local volunteer project by Hands Healing Hearts. Many girls, including I, have struggled with self image, while some lack the basics in person care necessities. Through my partnership with local small businesses, and my platform, I have collected body hygiene items that are filled with toiletries and self affirmations. The bags are distributed to local schools through counseling programs, after school programs, and women’s shelters. My goal is to support girls who need self care necessities so they can feel confident at heart, by caring for the natural beauty they have already.

Take Care Bag Donations and Assembly
Over the past two years, I have collected thousands of items to fill and create Take Care Bags. With the help of local events, fundraisers, and schools, I have been able to donate Take Care Bags to elementary school guidance and health departments across the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The bags are then distributed to students in need.

If you are a local business, service organization, or an individual youth or adult looking for a way to serve students in West Virginia, I would love for you to join the Take Care Bag Ambassador Program! With this program you will have access to marketing materials such as logos, business letterheads, sample letters for community engagement, and a support group! Ambassadors who sign up with receive Take Care Bag logo stickers and other fun surprise materials. To apply to become a Take Care Ambassador, simply fill out the form below!
